Hearing rumors and half-truths along the lines of Marvel Studios is probably not a good choice since it not only keeps fans on the radar for something new but also raises their expectations to seeing something entirely different on their screens. The Marvel Comics are doing a great job indeed by introducing new characters and having its studio revamp and reboot them every now and then
Nothing seems better than seeing your favourite actors clad in superhero leather jackets whilst targeting the villains on the screen. This is probably why fans wouldn’t protest to any reboots since they would still get to fantasize on the gusto and heroism of their favourite superheroes.
Marvel has come a long way, and as per its name, leaving fans marveling at every episode. With the news that Black Widow might get a separate franchise of its own, there has been news that has been creating frenzy down the aisle. Rumors have it that Marvel Studios might entirely reboot the X-MEN franchise with an entirely different cast that not only seems unrealistic but a tad bit impossible.
There are several factors that might cause fans to question the basis of this rumor. Firstly, if X-MEN does get rebooted, then its franchise might be handed over to the Russo Brothers who did a pretty good job directing Avengers: Infinity War. Secondly, the Fox-Disney merger might possibly end by next year, and with the huge list piled up already, fans are clueless as to what to expect from the two maestros
The Fox/Disney Merger has already piled up a couple of franchises to kick off in the next couple of years. Apart from Black Widow which is of course the prima donna of all those included, Marvel Studios also has a few sequels such as The Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Ant-Man 3, Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, Spiderman 3, and Captain Marvel 2 lined up for showdown. Apart from these sequels, there are a few rumors that Marvel might also introduce The Eternals and the Dark Avengers in the coming years.
With a lot of movies planned to direct and produce in the little time to come, rebooting the X-MEN franchise might not only get difficult but could also be spoilt in the process. The actors who would be chosen to portray the characters of the X-MEN in replica costumes would probably be there for another ten years. Given the fact, the directors would not only have to play with a unique cast that is not only new to its viewers but also does justice to the comic books and story-telling.
There is one definite thing for sure – with all these superheroes popping up on screens, fans have not only gotten their expectations all fired up, but have also gotten tonnes of rad ideas concerning Halloween and comic conventions. Get those superhero jackets for men already and fasten your seatbelts, because Marvel is ready to take you on a ride you’d remember for eternity.
I do love X-Men, but there is a piece of advice to the fashion developers. They are supposed to bring a change to the wardrobe. We guys have been tired of wearing those old costumes, i wish they bring up something new. I believe, with the release of a meta-human character based film comes a collection of costumes. For an instance, whenever i would require an X-Men inspired costume, i would look through the latest collection of Superhero Jackets at The Movie Fashion or else at any other local outerwear store.
