Hollywood’s cinematic portrayal of superheroes has given us a fanatic visual experience that we had always wanted to have while reading comic books. Whether it is the amazing Michelle Pfeiffer in a crawling catsuit back in Batman Returns in 1992, or the ever so daring Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman, we know we have our eyes fixated not only on the epic cinematography, but also on the costumes of our favorite superheroes.
Every comic con convention, or in order to be more relevant, Halloween, we see a bunch of female cosplayers in womens casual blazer jackets in order to get into the role of their favorite superheroes. GAL GADOT AS WONDER WOMEN
Gal Gadot had recently been featured in Maroon 5’s latest hit pop song, ‘Girls Like You’, and we as ardent fans of Wonder Woman can’t stop admiring her elegance even while she’s not in character. Most of the people today know Gal Gadot as Diane Prince/Wonder Woman from the 2016’s hit venture, ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’.
While she’s not in character and off-duty as Diane Prince, we can’t stop noticing the red sleek outfit she has worn in the still from the movie shown below. No matter what anyone says, Wonder Woman was and will always remain as one of the most iconic parts of the movie.

With the ultimate power to manipulate reality with her extraordinary mutant abilities, Scarlet Witch alias Wanda Maximoff is probably one of the most powerful female superheroes to date. With an all-leather outfit – not to mention the maroon leather trench coat – this superhero is not only glamourous, but has also proved to be the most confident badass on the team of Avengers.
SCARLETT JOHANSSON AS BLACK WIDOW
Scarlett Johansson has given us some immense style inspiration on how to wear jackets for women by portraying the badass yet confident spy from the Soviet region in the Avengers. The Black Widow might get her own Marvel franchise, and we are rooting for that to happen.
KRYSTEN RITER AS JESSICA JONES
While this superhero story aims to target adults with its dry humour, Netflix’s original Jessica Jones challenges the leading protagonist with disabilities that somehow disables her to portray her heroic abilities.
There are probably two things that we adore about the role of Jessica Jones – Krysten Ritter has not only infused sarcasm and wit into her character, but has also portrayed immense courage and heroism throughout her role. Even if you don’t adore Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones (a rarity that could even occur), we think that the way she adorns her moto jacket women while walking along the street heroically is enough to give you chills.
It would be incredible to have an action movie where there are only female superheroes for a change. While Black Widow might get her personal TV franchise, we think that super-villains such as Harley Quinn too, are worthy enough of getting the limelight on TV for a change.
