While most of you might recognize Hailee Steinfield from the uber-hit Pitch Perfect 2, some of you, who might have gotten the opportunity to witness this bold character in True Grit, might also acknowledge the Academy Award nomination strung beside her name.
The budding actress, aged 21, is not only famous for acting in movies and claiming Academy Award nominations since the time she was just 14 years old, she is also juggling a pop career and is out there, giving outstanding performances. Her pop career launched with Pitch Perfect 2, when Steinfield realized her potential also lied with her vocals on fire.
Her first single, ‘Love Myself’, helped earn her a huge fan base when it was released in 2015. Ever since, her singing career has sky-rocketed. Her fans became passionately impatient for her to release a full feature length album so much so that they held placards at the Wembley Stadium in June 2016.
However, with a career that is not only showing her success at the age of 21, but is also the reason for her budding prominence as a young star, Hailee Steinfield finds it quite difficult to battle time between the two. Her latest movie Bumblebee aims to portray her as a simple 18 year old who ventures into a junkyard only to develop a budding relationship with a transformer hidden in the form of a Volkswagen beetle.
Bumblebee might prove to be just another one of Hailee Steinfield’s highly acclaimed motion pictures. After starring and receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 14 for her character in the Coen Brothers’ True Grit, Steinfield has not only come a long way, but has also stretched towards different roles by signing up for teen blockbusters such as ‘The Edge of Seventeen’, and the second installment in the Pitch Perfect trilogy.
With her latest movie that is expected to release in December, 2018, Hailee Steinfield hopes to enter the Transformers era and claim the screen with her co-actor, John Cena. Starring with John Cena at the age of 21 as a leading protagonist is an achievement in itself, and very soon, with the movie’s success, not only will Bumblebee garner attention at sales again, but so will the infamous Hailee Steinfield Bumblebee Jacket.

Bumblebee has however, not only focused on a bright cast, but has also featured the transformers in classic designs by ditching the ones that were seen in ‘Optimus Prime’. This time, Transformers aims to bring back the classic designs of Generation One back into the hood, and with it, their lost legion of fans as well.
