FEMALE MOTORCYCLISTS – 5 RIDERS WHO DO IT FOR THRILLS AND CHILLS

As patronizing as this may seem, our streets and drag races are overcrowded with male motorcyclists and racers zooming around in their usual fashion. However, most might consider motorcycling ‘too manly’ for women to pursue; we might consider it to be completely flawed and quite patronizing to begin with.

Female racers – athletes and celebrities alike – have adorned their camo jacket womens and zoomed past racing grounds to attain victory for their sponsors. However, here, we will discuss a few patrons of art who not only enjoy perusing their respective line of work, but also cater to ride a motorcycle every once in a while.

Lanakila MacNaughton’s photography exhibit features women who ride and not just straddle bikes parked alongside the roads in their skimpy outfits. Mentioned below are 5 such women who took to the streets with their intense glares and riding abilities.

ALLISON

Lanaika MacNaughton’s photography exhibit includes Allison, a Harley sportster rider who showed up at the shoot in vintage eyewear, a white helmet, and an all-black outfit. Her shoot comprises Allison riding amidst the corn fields in Delware which according to us (and the photographer probably), was one of the best backdrops a motorcyclist could have.

GENEVIEVE

As a youngster, Genevieve, the beauty with fiery red hair, was made to swear that she, as a woman, would never, in her life, even think of getting on the back of a man’s motorcycle. Today, Genevieve has zoomed past 6 states of the USA on her motorbike, and she claims she is not going slowly with the time she has. Clad in a womens motorcycle jacket, Genevieve hopes to ride through all 50 states during her lifetime, and we think that is pretty incredible.

GINGER

Ginger is a free spirit who not only rides her New Church Moto on the streets, but also performs reckless stunts in style. This high-headed and free spirited lassie aims to inspire other women by evoking fearlessness and courage at the same time. Like MacNaughton, we too, believe in Ginger, and all other women, with all our might.

KARA

Kara owes the establishment of her newfound and mindful relationship with bikes and motorcycles to an alley garage in Chicago where she would see her boyfriend working endless hours to customize his new bike. Kara says that her newfound love with bikes established way before she had learnt to ride her first motorbike. To this date, Kara claims motorbikes as her ticket to mindfulness and peace.

STORMIE

Apart from a few others who were also portrayed on behalf of the photography exhibit, we chose Stormie, who has been riding motorbikes and countless freeways for around 20 years. Hitching a ride with her or photographing her as she avenges the roads with her storm might be amongst our bucket lists to do while we are in the vicinity.

Stormie speaks and behaves on behalf of all of the liberated women in the world. She is a free spirit who claims to embody courageousness and comfort through her riding stints.

There were a few hairstylists as well who were photographed by MacNaughton in their barbour jacket womens and motorcycles. With the number of high-headed and free spirited female riders we got to know of today, we think that this world is already set to break the stereotypes and unshackle women so that they can not only live their life in peace, but in complete liberty

  1. I am a passionate motorbiker myself who loves to ride through the highways and more generally to other cities and states. One should absolutely encourage these girls for defeating the self-created fears and doing what they love. But i guess, fashion designers should do a lot than just designing a jacket for women. As compared to the biker jackets for women, the biker jackets for men offer an unlimited range of variety and allow men to wear something unique. Now it’s up to the fashion industry to transform the fashion for these brave girls and put them on priority.
